Bar Crawls bring together friends and celebrate occasion. The Bar Crawl in Mystic brings the memories! Mystic is so special because it is a town based on quality of life; strangers become life-time friends, and moments become traditions. Every season reminds us that Mystic is more than a beach and summer attraction, it is an all-year-round destination!
We have some “Small Town Love” for this generational town. The connections have started since the old school spelling of “Mistick” in 1966 and even before.

Here is the Crawl for the favorite drinks and classy ambiance:

Daniel Packer Inn- DPI

DPI is known for the pub. The quaint roaring fire and small tavern, with original fireplaces, mantles, and beams. In the late 1700’s the Inne was a welcome landmark for weary travelers between New York and Boston. They would dine while Captain Packer would entertain his guest of thrilling tales of his adventures on the high seas.
Stop here on the Mystic Crawl for signature cocktails starting with the Mystic River Sunset, top shelf vodka, fresh squeezed orange juice, cranberry juice, agave, and champagne shining on top.

The Port of Call

New to the “Mystic Family”, this restaurant is quick to fame, voted one of the 24 Best Bars in America by Esquire Magazine. A specific cocktail lounge is just the way to bring the locals and tourists together with a nautical-themed lounge and cocktail excursion. It will be hard to pick just one here, but the Overnight Celebrity, La Jardinerx, or Effervescent could please any pallet as the signature concoctions are nothing less than successful science experiments!

oyester club

Oyster Club

This bar marries a quant cottage feel with a historic nautical feel, in the heart of Downtown Mystic. Social meetups bring together locals and visitors with the lounge chairs and “people-watching”. Choices of local brews, wines, and cocktails by the number. The cocktails are creative concoctions, like, Cocktail No 27 with Cazadores Tequila, Velvet Falernum, Suze, Super Lime, and Finback Cheese.

Fair Tucks

Friar Tucks

Gary Hobert, a Mystic native revived the heartbeat of Mystic by marrying a Sports Bar, Irish Pub, and Summer Picnic into one. With the thrill of the game inside with surround sound 360 TVs in the fall, the high tops in the backyard garden with live music in the summer, and everything in-between. This feels like a lost city getaway “tucked” in the factory square building commons. Pick from any of the 24 drafts on tap, but we recommend to go right for the local craft beer from Beer’d for this Mystic Experience.

bank and brewsing co

Bank & Bridge Brewing Co

A new treasure that came to Mystic in the summer of 2021, this amazing atmosphere replicates it’s owner, with a San Diego flip flop laid back vibe, a Marine Corps Veteran high expectation for great taste, and a Trial Lawyer young professional atmosphere. This is a must stop for a loud cheers and a new friends along the way. While the bar is fully stocked with all wines, liquors and some guest brews, the crafts on tap are a must with a plethora of IPAs and DIPAs worth sampling.

Go where the Locals find a great selection of draft and bottled beers, and fine choices of Irish and Scottish Whiskies, and Gin. Step out of Mystic and find yourself in an exact replica of a small country pub in Ireland. With the background of Irish music and a game on the TV, all are welcomed with a great conversation and a good laugh over a creamy pint.
