Company of Craftsmen was founded in 1981 by Kathryn and Jack Steel. Kathryn with her art history background and Jack Steel, apprentice with Joseph Cornell in NY and a M.F.A. in sculpture from Cranbrook Art Academy.

The home of over 150 artists working in wood, glass, pottery, wrought iron and jewelry located in the restored Holdridge building at 43 West Main St in historic downtown Mystic.
