Now this part of the wedding is usually planned by the grooms family, but it still requires some consideration.   1. The Steak Loft is Mystic’s best steakhouse and top seafood restaurant. Since 1973, Steak Loft has featured premium program beef, fresh seafood, a scrumptious salad bar, wine, cocktails, entertainment and excitement. If you’re looking for a good steak in Mystic, go here. One half of the restaurant features upscale dining with a terrific salad bar. The other half is a huge lofted tavern with laid-back atmosphere, regular live music schedule, and its own menu.
  2. The Captain Daniel Packer Inne, known as DPI, to the locals, is just outside of Downtown Mystic. DPI was built on the Mystic River over 250 years ago. Square-rigger Captain Daniel Packer completed construction of the building bordering Water Street in 1756.
